We are happy to announce the release the DISORT backend v1.1.0!
This new release adds support for the pseudo-spherical correction built into CDISORT. This option activates automatically when the backend detects a spherical-shell geometry and corrects the direct light beam to account for planetary curvature. Although scattering remains processed under the plane-parallel assumption, this significantly improves the correctness of results under high solar zenith angles. High viewing zenith values, however are not corrected for.
